Fans may hear additional "Kingdom Hearts 3" details during a concert series planned by the game developer themselves. The "Kingdom Hearts" franchise will be celebrating its 15th year anniversary soon and Square Enix recently announced that there will be concerts happening in Japan this year, followed by a world tour.
"Kingdom Hearts" fans can enjoy all the music that was used in the game franchise during the "KINGDOM HEARTS Concert – First Breath." This is the first part for the 15th anniversary celebration for the game and will have the following schedule:
- August 11 - Tokyo, at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Theater Concert Hall with performances from the Siena Wind Orchestra.
- August 27 – Aichi, at the NGK Spark Plug Co., Ltd. Civic Hall Forest Hall and will feature the Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra.
- August 28 – Osaka, at The Symphony Hall, also by the Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra.
"KINGDOM HEARTS Orchestra – World Tour" is the second part of the celebrations and will all happen next year. The following countries will be the venues for different performances:
- March 10, International Forum Hall A, Tokyo, Japan.
- March 18 and 19, Salle Pleyel, France.
- March 24 and 25, Central Hall Westminster, United Kingdom.
- May 6 and 7 Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore.
- May 28, Mercedes Benz Arena, China.
- June 10 and 14, Dolby Theatre, USA.
- June 24, United Palace Theatre, USA
Tetsuya Nomura, the game director, has prepared several cinematic clips that will be presented during the performances. He mentioned that the world tour starts after the release of "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue," Polygon reported.
Information about the upcoming game may be announced during the concert series.
For the meantime, fans can look forward to the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo 2016, E3, happening next month at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Koalition had an exclusive interview with Hironori Okayama, "Kingdom Hearts Unchained X" producer, where he mentioned that the company will reveal more information at the said event.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is rumored to be released next year.
