Lausanne to Gather 500 Young Christian Leaders in Malaysia

Up to 500 young Christian leaders are set to gather in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next week from all over the globe for the 'Lausanne Younger Leaders Gathering (YLG-06).

The week long event will take place from 24-30 September, and will unite hand-picked leaders representing the next generation of those who will be responsible for leading the churches and the mission of the future.

|QUOTE|A clear focus has been set to guide the leader to fulfil the Great Commission to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

Lausanne will gather the young leaders in prayer and unity to commit their lives to sharing 'the whole gospel to the whole world'.

Lausanne leaders are promoting the unity amongst the leaders, saying in a press release: "Imagine these younger leaders from 110 countries seeking the Lord together on their knees and locking arms in unity to reach the world. The only way this will happen is if the body of Christ lifts them up in prayer so that all the barriers that Satan will put in the way can be pushed aside."

It is hoped that YLG-06 will inspire, inform, connect and develop the selected young leaders from across the globe.

Prayers have been requested by Lausanne for:

- The speakers coming from all corners of the globe will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to bring specific and important messages to the younger leaders.

- Those leading the 23 training workshops will bring relevant tools for each younger leader.

- Those sharing the "state of the world" to YLG-06 will be clear and compelling in this time of global crisis.

- The Holy Spirit will bring a supernatural unity and connection of participants with each other and that language and culture will not be an impediment for connection, communication, and cooperation.

During the Lausanne Younger Leaders Gathering regular updates will appear on www.lausanne.org, as well as on the YLG-06 blog site, at www.ylg06blog.org
