Leader of Largest Sunday School in US to Commence London Mission

|TOP|The founder of America’s largest Sunday school is to commence a mission journey to London to reach out to local communities at a special gathering.

Bill Wilson, the founder of Metro Ministries will look to motivate and renew members of the Christian Life City (CLC) in Hackney, East London. The initiative will be held on 29th May at the Round Chapel in London.

Metro Ministries was founded in 1980 by Bill Wilson, and throughout its history has maintained its purpose to reach out to children living in New York’s Ghettos.

The ministry has seen extraordinary growth and today reaches out to 20,000 children aged between 4-12 that attend Metro Ministry Sunday School services held across America’s largest city.

|AD|The success of the Metro Ministry project has seen its methods in reaching out to young people replicated and used by churches throughout the world.

Bishop Wayne Malcolm, pastor of Christian Life City is hoping that Christians will be motivated by Bill Wilson’s ministry to reach out to young people in their community.

“Christian Life City is situated in the heart of Hackney, one of London’s poorest and most crime ridden boroughs. CLC is determined to make a difference in the local community, and believe we have much to learn from a minister like Bill Wilson who is making such a great difference in the lives of children that society has forgotten about,” said Bishop Malcolm.

He concluded, “We would like to encourage Christians from across the denominational spectrum who want to touch the lives of children in their local communities to attend this event. Anyone who is sharing the love of Jesus to young children and is experiencing success is worth listening to.”
