LG G3 rumors: Leaked image shows glossy plastic casing similar to Samsung Galaxy S5, rear-facing power and volume keys

The successor to the LG G2 pictured is due to be unveiled in a few weeks

High quality images of the forthcoming LG G3 have been leaked to the web revealing a plastic casing similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5.

The images reveal that the LG G3 will come with a glossy plastic casing and a much rounder shape than its predecessor.  They also appear to confirm the rumor that the device would be 5.2 inches.

The front of the phone doesn't appear to have any physical buttons, with these being positioned on the rear of the phone like before, although with a modified design.

A previous leaked image had already pointed to a second sensor on the rear of the phone and there is still no confirmation of what that is for.

These latest images showed a white LG G3 and were leaked to Japanese website Ameblo.jp

The website didn't post any image with the device switched on so there wasn't anything that could be gleaned about the quality of the display and whether it is indeed the rumored QHD 2560x1440 resolution.

Other predicted features of the LG G3 are a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM and a 13mp camera with optical image stabilisation.

All these details will be confirmed when the device is officially unveiled on May 27.
