There's a new photo for the upcoming "Wolverine" film "Logan" and it looks like a teaser from the film's director James Mangold tells a little bit more of what to expect from the very last "Wolverine" film.

Empire Online just released a report about the newest hard copy issue of the publication's magazine and it looks like a new image of Hugh Jackman as the older version of Wolverine from the "X-Men" made its way as the highlight of the magazine's Preview section. Marvel has been busy releasing teaser trailers and posters for the upcoming "Wolverine" movie, and in its latest image release, fans get to see a Wolverine that many fans of the "X-Men" film franchise aren't used to. Unlike the younger Wolverine who's buff and gristly, Jackman's newer version of the tough-as-nails character seems to be a whole lot more raw with his graying hair, his frizzled bear, and his battle-scarred body.

In an interview with the publication, Mangold had said that they were trying to keep the film grounded and bring viewer's focus on the mutant's vulnerability. "The goal was to make something human. We made an effort to scale back on the gloss and greenscreen," the director explained.

The director had also warned fans earlier in the script for the final "Wolverine" film that those looking for an excessively choreographed blockbuster would be disappointed with "Logan" since the film would be centered more on character development than action.

In other "Logan" film news, it seems like a new photo leak has been causing quite a stir online as rumors sprout that Patrick Stewart's Professor X could die in the final "Wolverine" movie. According to a report by Geek, a photo of a bullet-riddled car from "Logan" had been leaked on social media and while it might not seem so sensational, some have noted that the car looks like the one Logan used to drive Professor X around.

Will "Logan" be Professor X's last moment in cinema? Fans will have to wait and see.

"Logan" premieres on the big screen on March 3, 2017.
