Netflix just dropped the sixth and final season of "Longmire" on Friday, Nov. 17. After nearly a week, fans have surely binge-watched it and witnessed for the last time Walt (Robert Taylor), Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips), Vic (Katee Sackhoff), and the rest of the cast together. Clearly, there will be no "Longmire" season 7 coming.

The final season's storyline put an end to the show's every loose end. In fact, the streaming network gave it a proper ending it surely deserves.

"We are grateful to Netflix for the opportunity to compose a closing chapter for these beloved characters," "Longmire" executive producers Greer Shephard, Hunt Baldwin, and John Coveny said in a joint statement. In an interview with Cowboy & Indians magazine, Phillips assured viewers will definitely see a closure that will answer their every question.

After being canceled with a major cliffhanger on A&E, Sackhoff revealed having a chance to film "Longmire's" final season was a great opportunity for every one of them. Of course, the series' lead star, Taylor, was grateful to Netflix for picking up their show and to the fans that have been supporting them since the very start.

Meanwhile, "Longmire" season 6's final episode, titled "Goodbye Is Always Implied," satisfied the fans' viewing. It had changed all of the characters' lives that put their storylines to a close. The much-awaited ending viewers wanted to see was Walt and Vic's relationship.

And just like what fans expected, the two live together as a couple. Walt lost Lucien and he is still devastated by the death of his wife, Martha. On the other hand, Vic also lost her baby after suffering a miscarriage when Chance Gilbert (Peter Stormare) shot her.

By the end of it all, the two seem to be stuck in the sorrow they are feeling. "I'll never love you as much as my child and you'll never love me as much as your wife," Sackhoff's character said. So, when Walt retired, Vic and he decided to live together.
