MacBook Pro 2015 release date, rumors: New concept image features touch screen display

A MacBook Pro concept image emerged online and it features a touch screen Retina HD screen display, which is a rumored feature that will be coming to the updated laptop.

The latest render was imagined by designer Hass T. He named the concept as MacBook Pro 2 and he posted the photos of the concept image in his Google+ account. According to Hass T., the MacBook Pro will sport a lightweight aluminum body with a slightly darker color finish. The device will be a tablet-laptop hybrid because of the touchscreen panel, just like the Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

The laptop also includes a better FaceTime HD camera, which is found in the iPhone 6. The great thing about this feature is that it is a fully-functional tablet and laptop at the same time.

Concept Phones added that the laptop will run with the OS X operating system. The publication also noticed that the photos show that the keyboard is not detachable but can be shifted into a tent-like position to allow users to fully transform the device into a tablet form, something like the Lenovo Yoga.

Meanwhile, the new generation of MacBook Pro is reported to be on its way early next year and it will be released alongside the lighter MacBook Air. The laptops were reported to boast Intel's new Broadwell chipsets set to be launched at the 2015 Consumers Electronics Show next week, which will make the devices fanless and lighter than their predecessors. The laptops will also come with the new USB Type-C port and better battery capacity.

According to recent rumors, the MacBook Air and MacBook Pro are expected to arrive in the second quarter of 2015. However, people have not heard from Apple yet regarding the details and roadmap of the devices.
