The Major Crimes Division team will take on one of its complex cases to date in the newest episode of TNT's hit police procedural drama, Cartermatt reports.

In the sixth episode of "Major Crimes" entitled "Personal Effects," Captain Sharon Raydor (Mary McDonnell) will once again head the squad in investigating the pile of bones of a victim with a troubled past. Meanwhile, Rusty Beck (Graham Patrick Martin), continues to delve into the Alice case, this time with the help of a new friend. He will also be drawn into helping Louie Provenza (G.W. Wailey) make "a big move," according to TV Guide.

Last week, Rusty found Alice's voice mail from her phone but had not given the evidence to the police. When Dr. Joe Bowman (Bill Brochtrup) asked him why, he insisted that the authorities could not know about it yet. He also confessed that TJ Shaw helped him and that they were now friends.

The rest of the team was investigating the double murder related to a gang called the Monsters. While going from house to house, Amy Sykes (Kearran Giovanni) found a murder weapon courtesy of a little girl she found. The girl told her she saw the killer, but the female detective stopped her from talking and advised her to keep everything she knew to herself.

Michael Tao (Michael Paul Chan) confirmed that it was indeed the murder weapon and that it was traced to an earlier case involving a taco operator named Humberto Perez. The team believed that Twizz was their main suspect, with Buzz Watson (Phillip Keene) pointing out that he had a photo in the party of the dead woman's phone. But when Julio Sanchez (Raymond Cruz) interrogated Twizz, the latter denied the accusations.

Meanwhile, Amy got a call from the girl, telling her some guy was looking for a gun outside their house. Provenza eventually got wind of the fact that Amy was keeping the witness from them. When Sharon asked her why she did that, the young detective told her she was just protecting the girl.

They now know that the killer was Big Hazard, whose real name was Jason and the ex-boyfriend of the dead woman. When they lured him in, the killer immediately tried to escape, but they got him.

Later on, Rusty arrived and showed the voice mail to Andrea Hobbs (Kathe Mazur) and Sharon. The captain praised him for a good job. She was then approached by Andy Flynn (Tony Denison) and was asked for a "romantic date." To the lieutenant's surprise, she agreed.

"Major Crimes" Episode 6 airs at 9 p.m. Monday on TNT.
