Man Asks for Jesus' Phone Number, Contact Info After Youth Missionary Shares With Him the Good News

"Who is Jesus?"

The question stunned an American youth missionary who was visiting Sydney, Australia, according to God Reports.

Mark, the American visitor who asked the question, appeared educated enough to know about the most famous figure in the Bible—the Son of God Himself. And yet he appeared not to know anything about the Lord, or perhaps he was just pretending not to know, when he came in contact with Blair Coyle, a member of the U.S.-based Youth With A Mission (YWAM), an evangelical inter-denominational, non-profit Christian, missionary organisation.

After Blair finished making an impromptu address in front of people at a train station in Sydney, he noticed Mark sitting on a nearby bench.

Mark, who said he's involved in the casino industry, asked Blair what he does for a living.

"I travel around and tell people about Jesus," the youth missionary answered.

It was at that point when Mark asked about Jesus.

Blair explained to him who Jesus is, how he knows Him personally, and "how He speaks to me."

Sounding incredulous, Mark asked, "Wait, Jesus is alive? Jesus speaks to you? How does this work? What is the last thing He spoke to you?"

Blair told him how Jesus sent him and other members of their ministry to foreign missions to speak to people like him.

Mark, who appeared "completely blown away," began asking more questions about Jesus and the Christian faith, and Blair was just too happy to oblige.

Blair then asked Mark if he could pray with him. Mark agreed.

After saying a prayer for Mark, Blair asked him, "What are you feeling?"

"I feel a warmth inside," Mark replied.

"What you're feeling is God's Spirit touching your heart," Blair told him.

"Jesus wants to give me joy, peace, hope, and a new life?" Mark asked, still in amazed voice. "He wants to be my comforter and my friend? He wants to talk with me?"

After Blair nodded, Mark then raised a most surprising question: "Sounds like a great deal! How do I receive this? Do you have his phone number and contact details?"

The questions made Blair laugh. He then told Mark that Jesus doesn't need a phone to get in touch with him because "He is right here with us."

Mark right there and then accepted Jesus as his Lord and Saviour.

Blair said it was the first time he talked to someone like Mark who was all ears in hearing about the gospel.

"My encounter with Mark showed me that people in this world are hungry for the Gospel," Blair said.
