Manchester City have started the new season with a 100% record in the English Premier League. At the weekend they defeated arch rivals Manchester United to bring them into their Champions League campaign full of confidence.

Under new boss Pep Guardiola, City look like a team with a clear game plan, strategy, and finally confidence seems to be permeating through the expensively assembled team.

City managed to get through to the semi-finals of the Champions League last season, and Guardiola will now doubt want to go one better and get into the showcase final this season.

Guardiola managed to win three straight German Bundesliga titles prior to his move to Manchester, and even though many fans are looking at the Champions League with eager expectation following his arrival, he himself has admitted it would be a huge challenge to win Europe's top club competition this season.

He said, "I have to be honest, I would have to be a really good coach to win the Champions League this season. I will try but the history is the history. If they believed I failed in Munich because I didn't win the Champions League I have to accept that but I never said it is how I would be judged."

He added, "I just try to analyze things to improve because you can always do better. We did good things and not so good things. If we don't achieve it, it is because others have been better than us."

In one of today's other big Champions League games, Arsenal will be taking on PSG. Arsenal come into the game having picked up a little momentum in their season after a lackluster start. The Gunners lost their opening game against Liverpool, and then only managed a draw against Leicester.

However, since then Arsenal have gone on to win their last two games, which should give them some confidence coming into today's big game.

PSG meanwhile have done quite the opposite; having won their opening two games in the French top division, they have gone on to lose to Monaco, and could only manage a frustrating 1-1 draw against Saint Etienne last Friday.

PSG seem to still be finding their feet after the departure of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who moved on to Manchester United in the summer. In addition, PSG have seen a change at the top, with Unai Emery taking over as manager for this season.

Arsenal boss Wenger has spoken ahead of today's game and pointed out what a loss Zlatan Ibrahimovic is to the French champs: "They will be continue to be the dominant team in France but they lost more than a player with Ibrahimovic. He was the leader, the captain, a charismatic carrier of the ambition of the club and it's always difficult to measure, when you lose a player of that stature, how big the damage is."

He added, "At the moment they have also changed managers so they are trying to find their feet at the moment."

Today's big game between Manchester City and Borussia Monchengladbach has a scheduled start time of 7.45 p.m. BST (2.45 p.m. ET) and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.

In 2008, Wilson Femayi was wrongly convicted and sent to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He had just graduated from Bible college. His arrest — the result of a personal vendetta — was a devastating moment. But even in that dark place, God was at work. Today, Wilson is the Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Zimbabwe, leading programmes that are restoring prisoners and reuniting families across the country.
