The American alternative pop and rock band, Maroon 5, has officially announced that they will be releasing a brand new album titled "Red Pill Blues." This will be the band's sixth album, with their latest one being "V," which was released back in 2014. For those who want to get a sure copy, the band has made their album available for pre-order online.

The band's front man, Adam Levine, sent out a humorous clip on Snapchat to market the upcoming album. The 30-second clip showed Levine in four grid-like squares, with a very high pitched voice that sounded like he had inhaled some helium. At the end of the clip, Levine even made a silly face, which is unsurprising given that he was always known to be a whimsical guy.

In a report by Billboard, the announcement regarding the new album's release is much earlier than expected, not only for the music industry but for the fans as well. Furthermore, they added that the band shared through social media a series of graphics interchange formats (GIF) to promote the album as well as the pre-order options for potential buyers. Additionally, they gave a quick glimpse of the album art as well.

"Red Pill Blues" will have 10 songs, which will include the currently released single titled "What Lovers Do," a song that the band released in Sept. 28. In a report by People, the upcoming sixth album had executive producer J. Kash involved, who had previously helped the band arrange the chart-topping hit song "Sugar." The album will also be featuring collaborations from SZA, Julia Michaels, LunchMoney Lewis, and A$AP Rocky.

Fans of the band will be able to pre-order their very own copy starting Oct. 6, and will be able to have the privilege of being amongst the first listeners. The album will be made available to everyone on Nov. 3.
