Given that more and more information has recently been revealed regarding the highly-awaited sequel to the "Mass Effect" trilogy, reports are now trying to speculate when the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" game would actually be released.
Now, new leaked images have surfaced online which further provides evidence of a possible March launch for the eagerly awaited sequel.
Numerous rumors have, of course, already claimed that March was likely going to be the date that the game was going to be released after it was announced to be delayed to a 2017 release date. A recently uncovered Amazon promotional image seems to solidify this claim, despite its obvious mistake.
The promo image itself has the date "21-March-2016" printed on the upper-right corner. The "2016" date is in itself a clear sign that the image might have been mistakenly published, but some reports are adamant that the "March 21" portion of the date might still be accurate.
The date also apparently coincides with previous leaks provided by a pre-order listing for the game's art book, "The Art of Mass Effect: Andromeda." The Amazon U.S. listing had revealed that the book was going to be released on March 21, 2017.
However, the description for the book on the website reveals that it was apparently going to be released "simultaneously with the game." The description has since been changed, but the date still stuck with fans who are now convinced that the game would be released during March 21 next year.
Following the alleged leaked release date, EA then released a statement which mentioned that the date was merely a placeholder and that they have yet to "announce a specific launch date" for "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
Despite this, previous announcements from the company of a Q1 2017 release date coupled with the recent leaks do point to March being the most likely release date for "Mass Effect: Andromeda."
