The home cooks will battle it out in the annual tag team challenge in the upcoming episode of Fox's hit reality show "MasterChef" season 6.

In "A Storm's a Brewing," Cartermatt reports that there will be lot of screaming and frustrated teammates as the remaining contestants go into the mystery box challenge. Based on the show's promo, the home cooks are going to collaborate on creating a dish, switch in and out, and try to keep their composure intact to avoid screwing up the task. With varied tastes and styles in cooking, conflicts are sure to arise among them.

According to TV Guide, the main ingredient for the first challenge is coffee. The losing teams will then compete for the elimination challenge, where they will again pair up to prepare an elaborate party platter. This sounds like a big task for only two people to accomplish, but they have not reached this stage of the competition by luck alone. The home cooks are going to face this task with all guns blazing, for sure.

Last episode, the eight remaining home cooks had their skills tested in creating two dishes from the different ends of the spectrum. In the team challenge, they had to prepare vegetarian meals for the guests of the "MasterChef" restaurant. The losing group then competed in the pressure test, where they created meals using various cuts from an animal head.

Tommy and Hetal won the challenge last episode so they were team leader. Tommy chose Stephen, Katrina, and Nick to work with him in the mushroom and butternut squash. Hetal's group consisting of Derrick, Olivia, and Claudia chose to do an Indian curry with rice and tomato gravy.

The Red Team surprisingly beat Hetal's Blue Team, considering it was a vegetarian challenge. The four losing home cooks then proceeded to the dreaded pressure test, where they had to work on different animal heads.

Hetal had lamb head and she decided to cook shredded tongue and cheek on rice. The judges thought her dish tasted confusing, but that the lamb was good. Derrick, meanwhile, struggled with his fish head and created tandoori halibut and mango balls. His dish was pronounced as having great flavor, but he got called out for overcomplicating things.

Claudia's braised pork cheek tostadas was easily the best dish of the bunch and she was immediately saved from elimination. Olivia's barbecue beef cheek, however, did not fare well as her sweet sauce overpowered the protein. In the end, it was Olivia who got sent home.

"MasterChef" season 6 airs Wednesday at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
