Meizu is said to launch its newest lineup addition, the M5 Note, early next week.

GizmoChina reports that based on supposed teasers, the new Meizu M5 Note will be released on Dec. 6. Reportedly, the press launch for the new iteration has been officially confirmed by Meizu, and the tech maker has added that the Meizu M5 Note will be the last iteration in the lineup. The confirmation also puts to rest previous rumors that the new handset is a co-release with another variant, the Meizu X. However, with the release date already confirmed, it is expected that the Meizu X will come out first, as it will reportedly debut on Nov. 30.

The specs and features for the upcoming Meizu M5 Note are already known. The new iteration will feature a 5.5-inch display with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, the upcoming release will sport a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset and will come out with at least three variants in the lineup. The base model will have 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB onboard storage, while the step-up version will offer 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of ROM. The top specs model will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory. All three variants will offer expandable storage via microSD, as well as a massive 4,000-mAh battery. There is also a 13-MP setup for its main camera as well as a 5-MP selfie shooter in front.

Meanwhile, getting close to its debut, more supposed leaks are coming out for the Meizu M5 Note. Aside from its launch date, its pricing has also been seen online. Allegedly, prices will start at CNY999 or around $145 for the basic Meizu M5 Note 16 GB, while its all-metal counterpart, also having 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage, will have a slightly higher price tag at CNY1099 or about $159.
