Olympic swimming champion Michael Phelps stepped out with his new girlfriend Win McMurry at the 2013 ESPY Awards on July 18.

Phelps won the award for 'Best Record-Breaking Performance' and 'Best Male US Olympic Athlete' last night for his performance at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, where he won four gold and two silver medals.

The 28-year-old and McMurry were photographed hand in hand at the red carpet event in Hollywood.

McMurry is a reporter on The Golf Channel. She hosts PGA Tour Primetime Thursday and Friday evenings and reports on original programming features and specials.

She was previously crowned "Miss Fantasy Challenge" and frequently writes about golf fashion. She is the Fantasy Golf Expert for the NBC channel.

Sports Illustrated GOLF Magazine named her Golf's No. 1 Beauty and she has won two Telley Awards for her work on the PGA Tour.

The journalist graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication. She also went on to complete a post-graduate certificate in Business from the Kenan-Flager Business School at UNC.

Michael Phelps is the most decorated Olympian of all time with a total of 22 Olympic medals. He retired from swimming after breaking the Olympic world record at the London 2012 Olympic games. Phelps was also named World Swimmer of the Year seven times and the American Swimmer of the Year nine times. He won Sports Illustrated 'Sportsman of the Year' award in 2008.

The Olympian started the Michael Phelps Foundation in after the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, which focuses on swimming and promoting healthier lifestyles.
