Another Windows phone has come to light, thanks to a brand new leak.

The leak indicates that Microsoft is preparing a mid-range handset called the Lumia 550 and an online store based in Sweden already has it up for sale. German publication Winfuture managed to get a screenshot of the listing.

The budget Lumia phone, codenamed Saimaa, is shown to have specs that include a 4.7-inch AMOLED display that renders a 720p resolution. A Lumia smartphone of such size was already spotted in the import and export website Zauba (via WM Power User) back in May. The device was allegedly being shipped to India at that time.

There are apparently two versions of the Microsoft Lumia 550 — one with a single SIM slot and another with dual SIM support. These devices follow the model numbers RM-1127 and RM-1128. Both allegedly offer 8 GB of storage, 1 GB RAM and are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor.

The handset is said to feature a 5 MP rear-facing camera and a 1.2 MP front-facing shooter, apparently both with flashes, which should be something new and exciting to Lumia fans.

The device is also likely the first Lumia midranger to don the new Windows 10 operating system. It is also supposed to come equipped with 4G LTE connectivity and the storage space can be expanded with a microSD card slot on board the handset.

As far as looks go, Windows Central points out that the device looks a lot like the Lumia 640, which makes it likely that the device is being replaced by the Microsoft Lumia 550. As per the publication, there are no rumors about a possible release of a Lumia 6xx device, which means that the Lumia 550 could really be its long-sought follow-up.

The leaked budget smartphone is dressed up in polycarbonate, which comes with black and glossy white finish. A metal frame surrounds the display and the keys are on-screen. Another notable design element is a speaker that sits on the lower left corner of the handset's back.

The online Swiss store lists a CHF 114 or $117 price tag for the Microsoft Lumia 550. It is expected that it will be one of the devices Microsoft will unveil in their scheduled Oct. 6 event.
