The Nemesis system that has made "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" a revolutionary game hailing from the "Lord of the Rings" universe has made a comeback in "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War."

Since the release of the new title last Oct. 10, the Nemesis system has received a handful of both positive and negative response. In "Shadow of War," players will be journey through regions like Cirith Ungol, Minas Ithil, Udun, Seregost and other lands that belong to the world that J. R. R. Tolkien created for his epic fantasy novel.

Every region has a Fortress commanded by an Overlord. Under the Overlord are the Warchiefs, which can range from two to four. After the Warchiefs are the captains. These leader orcs can be seen and killed anywhere in a mission. Since these orcs are ranked officers, players will have a more difficult time killing them especially if they are still too low-leveled for the enemy.

All throughout the game, there will be infighting among orcs who want to ascend to the ranks. Due to these dissension in ranks, there will be orcs who are called worms. Worms will contain valuable intel on how to defeat a certain ranked orc.

By entering Wraith Vision mode, players can spot out these worms which have glowing green indicators. To obtain the intel, players must dominate the worm and not kill. This can be done by sneaking up on the orc and then pressing the circle button (B for Xbox One users). If successful, the Nemesis screen will open up. Players can then choose which ranked orc they want to obtain intel on. However, orcs with no intel yet appear as a shadowed figure, so players need to choose carefully which orc they want to tap.

Orc captains can also be subject to domination. When this is done successfully, players can shame the captain by lowering his rank, or fight the already weakened orc to death. However, the best thing to do is to recruit the orc captain into Talion's orc army.

An Overlord or Warchief, however, cannot be dominated and thus need to be eliminated. This is part of the story of Talion and the Bright Lord to save Middle Earth from Sauron.
