Minnesota Vikings NFL 2015 news: Adrian Peterson dissatisfied with carry tally following defeat to Seahawks

Minnesota Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was unhappy with the number of carries he had in their 38–17 home loss to last season's runners-up, the Seattle Seahawks, last Sunday.

Peterson was limited to only eight carries for 18 yards and no touchdowns, second only to fellow running back Jerick McKinnon in the rushing department in their games versus Seattle.

In their first 11 regular season games before Sunday's matchup against the Seahawks, Peterson was the solo leader of the Vikings when it came to rushing.

But Seattle's defense did not allow that to happen last Sunday, as for the first time this season, Peterson was unable to rush for more than 20 yards.

Following the loss, Peterson said the Vikings were "outcoached" and also spoke about the team's running game this 2015 season, ESPN reported.

"As one of the leaders on the team, seeing how the running game has been all season, you definitely want to be able to go out and establish the run and let things feed off of that," Peterson stated.

"To finish with eight carries, it's tough. I feel like we're able to sit back, evaluate some things again and get back to what we do," he added.

In 12 games played this season, Peterson has 245 carries for 1,182 yards and eight touchdowns, close to surpassing his numbers when he last played a full season in 2013 (14 games).

The 30-year-old was limited to only one game last season after facing legal battles off-field and suspension due to child abuse charges involving his son.

But since his return, the 2012 Most Valuable Player (MVP) has been the key piece of the Vikings' offense and their great season.

Unfortunately, Peterson was unable to make an impact last Sunday against the Seahawks, as the defeat allowed the Green Bay Packers to regain the top spot in the National Football Conference (NFC) North from the Vikings, despite both teams having an 8–4 record.

The schedule will not be easier for Peterson and the Vikings as they take on the leaders of the NFC West, the Arizona Cardinals, this Thursday.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
