'Miracles From Heaven' girl Annabel Beam gives physical description of Jesus Christ

Annabel Beam, the young girl who met Jesus Christ after a near-death experience, is the subject of the new movie called "Miracles From Heaven," which stars Jennifer Garner.

Even though Annabel has shared her story countless times, she managed to provide The Blaze a physical description of Jesus Christ. She was only nine years old when she had her life-altering accident.

"He had brown hair and a beard and he had... a white [robe] like what they would wear a long time ago," she said. "And then... a purple [sash]."

Annabel said she instantaneously knew it was Jesus she was talking to, and that it was difficult for her to leave heaven because it was such a wondrous place. "It was very bright and very peaceful and there was no pain — and that's why I wanted to stay," she said. "I saw my grandpa's mom who had died recently."

As difficult as it was to leave, God gave Annabel a great gift when she came back to life. Annabel suffered from chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction before her fall, but when she woke up, she found herself miraculously healed from the disorder.

"I didn't exactly think I would be healed or anything, because when Jesus said, 'When the firefighters get you out, there will be nothing wrong,' I thought he meant from the fall," she said. "So I didn't think I would be healed. I was just excited I could play."

The thought that she could now run around with other kids and play with them is so exciting for Annabel because back then, she "couldn't do anything except to lie on the couch."

Annabel hopes that "Miracles From Heaven" will inspire others to believe that God is real and appreciate all the "small miracles" He has placed in people's lives.
