Ethan Hunt is back.

The Mission Impossible franchise featuring Tom Cruise as IMF agent Ethan Hunt is back for its sixth film, and finally more details about the movie were revealed.

The sixth film is now properly titled as "Mission Impossible: Fallout," and the film's synopsis has been released by Paramount Pictures as well.

"The best intentions often come back to haunt you. MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – FALLOUT finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong. Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm," read the synopsis.

Tom Cruise also posted a photo from the film on his Instagram account, looking all badass hanging from a helicopter about to go down. Of course, it isn't the first time Cruise did some hard stunts for the Mission Impossible films, with production for the sixth movie even halting for a while after Cruise broke his ankle doing one of his stunts.

Much like its predecessors, "Mission Impossible: Fallout" will also feature some pretty dangerous stunts, including running across the glass roof of Blackfriars train station in London, jumping out of high windows, and of course, jumping from one building to another that resulted to the actor's injury.

Director Christopher McQuarrie, who also helmed "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation," has previously stated that the sixth film will not just be made purely of action and life-threatening scenes, but will also explore Hunt's individuality as well.

"I've seen five of these movies and I don't know who Ethan Hunt is," McQuarrie said. "One movie sort of dealt with his personal life; the other movies are about people speculating what's really going on in Ethan's head. I want to know who Ethan is in this movie, I want an emotional journey for this character, and Tom really embraced it."

"Mission Impossible: Fallout" will see a worldwide release on July 27 this year.

His arrest — the result of a personal vendetta — was a devastating moment. But even in that dark place, God was at work. Today, Wilson is the Executive Director of Prison Fellowship Zimbabwe, leading programmes that are restoring prisoners and reuniting families across the country.
