The season 7 premiere of "Modern Family" is almost here, and the official synopsis for the first episode of the season has been released.

According to International Business Times, the episode, titled "Summer Lovin," will be all about Haley (Sara Hyland) and Andy trying to understand their feelings for each other. In the premiere, Haley's attempt to stop Andy from proposing to Beth ends up with both Haley and Andy needing to cope with their emotions and both have their own ways of doing so.

In the season 7 promo trailer, Phil (Ty Burrell) is very supportive when it comes to Andy and Haley, and he is heard yelling at Claire (Julie Bowen) over the phone, "Haley and Andy love each other and they don't know it!" before adding, "I think I know the look of love in another man's eyes."

Meanwhile, Jay (Ed O'Neill) and Gloria (Sofia Vergara) look at preschools for Joe and realize that there is a competitive wait list to get in.

Joe proves to be a handful for his parents as he is seen running after a chicken in the park while Gloria tells him to let the chicken go. It appears that something bad must have happened to the chicken as Gloria tells the owner of the bird, "We will be very happy to pay for the chicken."

Cam (Eric Stonestreet) tries to support Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) after he left his job, but money is getting a little tight so Cam comes up with a plan to get Mitch's old job back.

Ferguson recently spoke to Bustle to discuss the couple's money problems in season 7. The actor revealed that after Mitch left his job, he starts to get "a little stir crazy" and tries to paint as a way to tap into his artistic side while filling the hours.

"Then, [he] sort of realizes that there's no money in that," he added. Mitch then picks up random jobs and at one point, he coaches Lily's soccer team even though he doesn't know a thing about the sport.

"Modern Family" season 7 premieres on Sept. 23 at 9/8c on ABC.
