Mothers campaigning to have 'sexualised' Kardashian Kids clothing range pulled from Babies 'R' Us

The Kardashian Kollection may be a hit with young women, but the clothing line's baby division – Kardashian Kids – is receiving a less than warm welcome.

Founded by reality stars Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian, the Kardashian Kids range features faux leather diaper covers, miniskirts, metallic gold leggings, and leopard print bodysuits for newborns, babies, and toddlers. Nearly 3,000 people have asked Babies "R" Us to pull the line.

Kim was once married to music producer Damon Thomas, and went on to date Nick Lachey, Nick Cannon and other celebrities, but it was her sex tape with ex-boyfriend Ray J that propelled her to superstardom. The explicit home video is a sticking point for the thousands of protesters on the Change.org petition website.

"I don't want my child to grow up to be a Sex Tape star," the petition's creator, Amie Logan, wrote. "You pulled the Breaking Bad toys because they promoted Drug use. You should pull this clothing line because it promotes bad behavior as well. The madness has to stop. If the toys are damaging so is the clothing."

The "Breaking Bad" action figures came with plastic guns, money, and bags of meth. They were pulled this month after over 9,000 people signed a Change.org petition.

Some find the Kardashian Kids line just as offensive and had some pretty harsh words for the reality TV family.

"These women represent a family whose fame is based on a sex tape," one angry petitioner wrote. "I would never want my daughter to have to be so desperate for attention in life to do something so degrading. The fact Babies 'R' Us endorses this family is disgusting."

"As a principle I don't buy anything that the Kardashian have to sell. Being famous for a sex tape is not a value I am trying to give my daughter," another person said. Many other parents and grandparents agreed.

Neither the Kardashian clan nor Babies "R" Us have responded to the petition.
