It's not known yet which devices the company plans to announce at this upcoming event, but according to recent rumors, it is expected to be the new Moto X and Moto G handsets.

Techno Buffalo adds that an invitation to the event launch has been issued by the company and comes with these words, "Your relationship status is about to change."

In addition, Motorola's new successor to last year's Moto 360 smartwatch is also expected to be announced as well. New details in regards to the Moto 360 2 (2nd generation) has recently emerged along with its complete specifications.

For the new Moto X (2015), it was revealed last month that this new handset might arrive sometime in August or September. The handset is expected to sport a 5.2-inch display screen with water resistance capability. International Business Times reports that another variant called the Moto X Sport will also be available and will come with a larger 5.7-inch screen.

The new Moto G (2015), on the other hand, is expected to sport a 5-inch display screen with a 1280 x 720 (HD) pixel resolution. It will have a 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera, according to earlier reports. Reports claim two variants will be available for this phone; one model will offer 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory capacity and the other will offer 2GB RAM and a larger 16GB memory space.

For the Moto 360 2, it is expected to have a 1.56-inch LCD display screen with a 360 x 360 resolution. The new smartwatch will run on the Android Wear operating system and will have under its hood a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, 512MB RAM and up to 4GB internal memory storage.
