Bandai Namco Entertainment had previously announced that they will be releasing a brand new downloadable content (DLC) expansion pack for their highly popular fighting video game "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" that will serve as the final addition that will mark the end of the entire franchise.
To further commemorate the end of the hit franchise, the company has now announced that they will be releasing physical copies of the product in North America, which should be welcome news for those who wish to keep a copy of the game as part of their collection.
The final expansion pack for the game was previously announced to be released in its physical form in Europe and Japan. The company, however, did not really confirm it for North America until now. A physical copy of the game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One will be made available for $49.99.
The package will contain the last installment in the "Naruto: Ultimate Ninja" series, all of the content included in the Season Pass, the "Road to Boruto" expansion, and all of the bonus downloadable content that have been released so far. For those who would rather get a digital copy of the game, the same package will be made available to download for $19.99
Bandai Namco describes the expansion to be a melding of the all the fast paced combat, anime-quality graphics, and epic story mode that the franchise has been known for into a brand new adventure that will revolve around Naruto's son, Boruto Uzumaki.
Along with the brand new story mode, players will also be getting access to brand new characters in both online and offline free battle modes. New costumes will also be part of the package and will include Hokage Naruto and Adult Sasuke, among other costumes that highlight the new look of the ninjas after the war.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 – Road to Boruto" is scheduled to be released worldwide in February 2017.
