Agent Leroy Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his squad will team up with the FBI in a high profile case involving a kidnapped teenager in the upcoming episode of "NCIS."
In "React," CarterMatt reports that the NCIS will be tapped to investigate the disappearance of a young girl, who happens to be the daughter of Sarah Porter (Leslie Hope), the Secretary of the Navy. The FBI will be brought to the case, as well. The two forces will work together to track her abductor and bring her home safely to her family. Will it be a successful mission?
Elsewhere, Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) will reunite with a childhood friend who also works as a Special Agent for the NCIS. Valerie Page (Christina Chang) has come to town for the advance tactics training that Gibbs' squad will participate in. She will be one of the assistants. With McGee and Page having a long history together, viewers can expect to see some flashbacks on their youthful years.
Meanwhile, the NCIS will soon investigate a murder case, with the only witness suffering from extreme post-traumatic stress. Marine Gunnery Sergeant Aaron Davis (Taye Diggs) was gravely injured in an ambush attack while in Iraq, where he served as a special operations sniper. To prepare him for the inquest, the Navy sent him to Walter Reed Medical Center, where he is getting a "slow, but effective rehab that includes a cutting-edge music therapy program."
Gibbs will have to work on Davis and pull him out of his depression so that they could solve the case. According to showrunner Gary Glasberg, Diggs' character will be seen in the 300th episode of the series slated to air on March 15. He shared in a statement that the show is honored to have a guest actor who could do justice to the role of one of the nation's wounded warriors.
"This emotionally charged role is tailor-made for Taye Diggs and we are so thrilled and honored to have him join us," the executive producer said.
"NCIS" season 13 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
