Tony Dinozzo (Michael Weatherly) will once again team up with former flame Jeanne Benoit (Scottie Thompson) in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "NCIS."

In "Loose Cannons," CarterMatt reports that the agent will approach Jeanne after receiving new intel about the doctors he is tracking in Sudan. Three months prior, they also worked together when Jeanne's husband, David (David Chisum), suddenly went missing while in a humanitarian mission in the African country. At the end of the episode, they somehow got the closure they needed with regard to their past relationship.

In season 4, Jeanne broke up with Tony after learning that he was an undercover Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) agent working to take down her father, the infamous arms dealer "La Grenouille/The Frog." She also asked him to choose between her and his job. When her dad died, she thought that Tony was the one who had him killed. The last time they saw each other, he told her that what they had was not real.

In a promo photo released exclusively by TV Line, the pair can be seen seating closely beside each other. Files are strewed on the desk they are sharing, with a small lamp giving just enough light to create a cozy atmosphere. Tony and Jeanne appear to be working an all-nighter. Will something resurface between them in the dimly lit room? David is reportedly going to be in the episode as well.

Elsewhere, Leroy Gibbs' (Mark Harmon) savior, Doctor Cyril Taft (Jon Cryer), will be tapped to help the NCIS. He and colleague Dr. Grace Confalone (Laura San Giacomo) will be working closely with Gibbs in finding key evidences to prove the case against a suspect. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly in January, executive producer Gary Glasberg shared how excited they were to have Cryer back.

"This time, Jon Cryer's Doctor Taft gets to help Gibbs solve a case and he likes it. Apparently solving crimes can be fun. Having Jon involved this season has been a gift. His skills as an actor and comedian make him the perfect addition to our team," he said.

"NCIS" season 13 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST on CBS.
