New Bible Society Centre Opens in United Arab Emirates

The Bible Society in the Gulf (BSG) in the United Arab Emirates has opened up a new Bible Society Centre in the 'garden city of the Gulf' Al Ain, which is located in the Evangelical Community Church of Abu Dhabi building within Oasis Hospital compound.

Local Christian communities have expressed their joy and are truly thankful for the new Bible Society in the Gulf's centre. In the city, the centre will be surrounded by magnificent red sand dunes and overlooked by an imposing mountain range through which now, the society will be in a much better position to meet the Scripture needs of many people.

At the dedication ceremony, BSG Executive Secretary, Hrayr Jebejian emphasised the importance of the Bible Society Centre. He described it as a precious tool as the church draws people from a far. In addition the centre will be used by a total of 18 different congregations each week, becoming a precious and life-giving oasis for many people in the desert landscape.
