New Eden Arts & Music Festival

The New Eden Festival took place at Torre Abbey Meadows Park at the weekend, 3rd-4th July. It was run by New Eden Festivals Ltd, a voluntarily organisation, specifically set up to give Christian artists a stage to give witness publicly through their God given gifts.

The outreach event reaches thousands of people every year, and is a free admission open air festival. To numerous passers-by, it provided a first opportunity to see Christian performers in action.

The programmes consisted of many different kinds of Christian cultures, including music, dance, drama and comedy. There were also children's programmes, Christian arts&crafts, bookstalls and ministry.

This year, the headlining artists were Shane Lynch, Ben&Tony, Steve Legg. Other highlights included Dance workshops, Drama Workshops, Circus Skills Workshops, and Puppets in evangelism seminars among many other things.
