The Texans travel to Foxborough on Thursday night for what is a mouthwatering clash between two, as yet, undefeated sides in the NFL this season so far.

The Patriots have coped well so far without star quarterback Tom Brady, but they still have two more games to go without him, and tonight they will be tested in a big way by a very confident and strong looking Texans team.

Tonight they may have to make do with third string quarterback Jacoby Brissett, which will make things even more difficult for them. He has only had three days preparation time, and will be making his first NFL start, so who knows how things will turn out.

The Texans defense is strong and unless the New England offense can give Brissett time and space, he may have a long night here today.

Analysts are making the Texans favorites to win this game, which puts New England in the unusual position of being underdogs. But of course it would take a brave man to write off this Patriots team, as even with Brissett, they have strength and depth on both sides of the ball, and they no doubt will be going all out to claim a third win from three games to start their season.

Brissett has some big shoes to fill - and that's not even talking about Tom Brady. Second string quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is ranked second in the NFL after two weeks with 30.49 Passing Net Expected Points. Garoppolo has led the Patriots offense admirably in the absence of Brady, but went off injured last week against the Miami Dolphins.

How things will turn out tonight is anyone's guess, but the pressure is on Brissett, and it will be intriguing to see how he stands up against this powerful Texans defense.

Tonight's big NFL Thursday Night Football between the New England Patriots and the Houston Texans has a scheduled start time of 8.25 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the CBS network or NFL Network, or online through live stream by clicking here.
