Huawei might soon release three new MateBook devices soon, if rumors turn out to be true.

Mobile reporter Evan Blass, one of the more credible sources of leaked gadget news, posted on Twitter that the Chinese telecommunications equipment manufacturer is planning to release three new models of the MateBook two-in-one laptop device. All of them will reportedly run using the Windows 10 operating system.

The post claims that Huawei will call the upcoming MateBook products as the MateBook E, the successor of the original MateBook device that came out in February 2016, and the MateBook D and MateBook X. According to Blass, the upcoming devices are known within the company under the code names Pascal, Bell, and Watt. However, there are no indication which code name matches with the rumored devices. Meanwhile, another leaked information from Roland Quandt revealed that the upcoming 15-inch Huawei MateBook code-named Pascal will feature an Intel Core i5-7200U processor and an 8 GB of RAM based on the GeekBench listing.

Based on the information, Digital Trends speculates that the MateBook X will be considered as a luxury device that is expected to compete with other high-end laptops like the MacBook from Apple and Microsoft's Surface Book. But the pricing for the rumored MateBook product is expected to be the gauge if it can fare well against its top competitors.

On the other hand, the rumored MateBook E might come out with an Intel Core M processor. It is also believed to come with several upgrades from the first-generation MateBook laptop. The specs for the MateBook D are currently scarce, but it is expected to have an entry-level price to target the student market, as well as those who have less budget for a new laptop.

Huawei is expected to reveal more details about the rumored MateBook devices soon.
