Following the first trailer and some teasers for the upcoming film "New Mutants" is the official poster. It definitely shows the mutant leads wanting to get out, but it also gives a glimpse on someone's transformation.

Since the release of the first teaser trailer, "New Mutants" continues to follow in the footsteps of its preceding films which experimented with different genres. That being said, the upcoming movie is also becoming one of the most-anticipated films in 20th Century Fox's "X-Men" franchise.

The new poster was shared on the film's official Twitter account with the caption, "The only thing you have to fear...is yourself."

In the poster, the five main characters seem to be pushing through a barrier, with their faces already molded into it. While it is difficult to determine which face belongs to who for most of these five leads, one, in particular, has fangs sticking out. This is definitely Rahne Sinclair aka Wolfsbane (Maisie Williams) transforming into her wolf form.

Previously, three motion teasers were released, following those of Wolfsbane and Sam Guthrie aka Cannonball (Charlie Heaton). One of the three teasers in particular hints at the film's main villain, the Demon Bear.

Another teaser features an empty bedroom and its caption reads, "Fear will follow you everywhere." The word "fear" was used in the caption; it could be assumed that this is referring to Danielle Moonstar aka Mirage (Blu Hunt) and her ability to manifest a person's biggest fear.

But, the teaser is likely referring to Illyana Rasputin aka Magik (Anya Taylor-Joy). In the comics, Magik is a mutant sorceress that could make teleportation discs that enabled her to travel to Limbo. The empty room may be her room in her home country of Russia.

Another teaser has the caption, "Brighter the light, darker the shadow," and it shows a flame in an empty and dark hallway. This would definitely be referring to Roberto da Costa aka Sunspot (Henry Zaga). In the comics, Sunspot has the ability to turn into a form that is powered by solar energy.

The latest teaser is the one that most likely refers to Mirage. The motion teaser features snowfall in the woods, but there are scratch marks and a bear pendant necklace. The caption reads, "Nature never nurtured." The bear pendant in this particular teaser seems to tease the movie's villain as well.

Demon Bear in the comics was created by a mystic that also happened to kill Mirage's parents. Since her parents died, the bear has been haunting Mirage, appearing in her dreams until he suddenly manifested in reality due to the mutant's power.

"The New Mutants" premieres on April 13, 2018.
