It seems like the New York Jets will have to wait a few more days to learn about the status of cornerback Darrelle Revis, who is still in the National Football League's (NFL) concussion protocol program ahead of Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

Revis suffered the injury in Week 11's 24–17 defeat to the Houston Texans and missed their Week 12 game versus the Miami Dolphins last Sunday, which the Jets won 38–20.

In a report by ESPN and NJ.com, Jets head coach Todd Bowles stated that Revis is still in the concussion protocol and is uncertain when they take on the Giants.

"He's making slight progress, but we'll see how much progress he makes toward the end of the week," Bowles said, according to the reports.

When asked if Revis has done any physical activity, Bowles answered, "Not yet. I thought he did a little bit (Monday), but I'm not sure how much, though."

One of the most anticipated matchups this season is between Revis and Giants star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

But with the 30-year-old cornerback still uncertain, there is a possibility that it will not happen, considering that he has not practiced last week and also was not present at meetings, according to ESPN.

ESPN added in the report that Revis' replacement in the starting unit, cornerback Marcus Williams, is also injured and is nursing a medial collateral ligament (MCL) sprain which makes him day-to-day.

Revis is one of the best defensive players for the Jets this season and has 30 tackles and three interceptions.

The Jets are currently second in the American Football Conference (AFC) East with a 6–5 record, and are aiming to win as much of their remaining regular season games to secure the position and improve their playoff chances.

Along with Sunday's clash with the Giants, the Jets still have five more games before ending the regular season.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
