Singer and musician Nick Jonas was put in the hot seat during a recent episode of the "Wendy Williams Show."
Jonas, previously known as much for his commitment to abstinence as his music, confirmed that he is no longer a virgin.
The 22-year-old also no longer wears his purity ring, and says he does not regret his decision.
"I think it was an important part of my childhood and it was that," he told Williams. "As I grew up, I sort of figured out what was important to me and my own belief system.
"We all grow up and we all live life and find out what's important to us, that's what happened. I went on that journey myself and I'm now comfortable with who I am and what I believe in and I'm an adult."
When Williams asked him to clarify why he removed the ring, Jonas confirmed that he has had premarital sex.
"As I said, I'm an adult in all ways," he stated.
Jonas Brothers member Joe Jonas, 24, revealed last December that he lost his virginity at the age of 20.
"I did other stuff before then, but I was sexually active at 20," he told New York Magazine. "I'm glad I waited for the right person," he added.
Nick Jonas is currently in a relationship with former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo. He admitted that his single, "Jealous," was written about her.
"We went out one night and this guy was looking at her for a little too long," Jonas recounted. "It was uncomfortable. I'm not a jealous person and this was an experience that I was one or two drinks in.
"I really got into it and then I decided to let me just process this a different way and go into the studio and write this song."
Culpo also appears in the music video for the song.
Aside from the jealousy incident, Jonas said their relationship is going strong.
"We're enjoying the ride together and its's been a pretty insane year and half," he said Wednesday. "Lots of changes in both of our lives and she's been a teammate through all of it."
Kevin Jonas, 27, married former hairdresser Danielle Deleasa in 2009. They have a daughter, Alena, born in February 2014.
