Gamers wanting to grab some portable game consoles can consider the Nintendo 3DS, especially now that a limited edition of the console is being offered. To make it more enticing, the company will be offering it for just $99.99 on Black Friday, and it will be available in black and white.

The new Nintendo 3DS special edition features a Mushroom Kingdom artwork design on its cover. It includes Mario, Toad, Fire Flower, and several other characters. The offer will start on Nov. 25.

Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said in a statement: "Nintendo has some of the best gifts for the holiday season. Whether you're looking for games for the whole family, or a cool new system at a great value, Nintendo has you covered."

He also added, "Once shoppers pick the system, the next step is to load up on great games. Fortunately, the Nintendo 3DS family of system library is massive, and has options for every type of player. "

A few of the recently released games available for the Nintendo 3DS include "Mario Party Star Rush," "YO-KAI WATCH 2: Bony Spirits," and "YO-KAI WATCH 2: Fleshy Souls." Soon, "Pokémon Sun," "Pokémon Moon," and "Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS" will also be available.

There are also classic games available for the console, like, "Animal Crossing: New Leaf," "Mario Kart 7," "Super Mario 3D Land," and "The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds." Next year, fans can expect the arrival of a new Pikmin game, "Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King," and "Ever Oasis."

The new Nintendo 3DS makes it $20 more expensive than the Nintendo 2DS, which retails for $79.99. The cheaper handheld device also lacks the glasses-free 3D visuals. It is also half the price of the larger screen Nintendo 3DS XL.

The new Nintendo 3DS special edition will be available starting Nov. 25 for $99.99 (SRP) at retailers across the United States.
