
The upcoming Nintendo Switch is said to have several games ready when it is released in March 2017, tentatively. A well-known Nintendo insider mentioned that "Skyrim," "3D Mario," "Splatoon," and a few more titles would be the games available on day one. The source also revealed other games that will be released within the first six months.
Lauren Kate Dale is one of the reliable insiders when it comes to Nintendo, and she has been to the point when it comes to the upcoming Switch. Her latest revelation on Twitter discloses the games that will be available once the video game console arrives next year.
According to her post, games that will be available on launch day are "3D Mario," "Mario Rabbids RPG," a ported version of "Splatoon," "Skyrim," and "Just Dance 2017." In the first six months, it is speculated that "Zelda: Breath of the Wild," and "Telltale Guardians of the Galaxy" will arrive. As well as ported versions of "Mario Kart 8," "Xenoblade X," and "Mario Maker."
Additionally, "Pokémon Stars" and "Pikmin 4" are also expected to be released sometime next year. WCCFTech added that a Switch exclusive, "Beyond Good and Evil," could be released in 2018.
Dale also said on another post that the information she has gathered have different sources, saying: "That is based on the info I've got. Some of it is single sourced, but that's how I expect things to go currently."
Meanwhile, Glixel recently had the opportunity to speak with Todd Howard, director and executive producer at Bethesda, and discussed the upcoming Nintendo Switch and its "Skyrim" game. Howard said that he had the opportunity to play the new gaming device and he loved it. He is excited for its release and the support they will be providing for Nintendo.
Howard was then asked if "Skyrim" could be ported to the Switch and make it a portable game. He replied, "It's the same game on the TV and on the other screen."
Nintendo Switch is expected to have a worldwide release in March 2017.
