The Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will go head to head on Sunday in a big game in the NFL regular season. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and takes place from the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. The AFC West is amazingly balanced right now with the Oakland Raiders managing to compete with the Denver Broncos at the top of the division.

Most have been used to penciling in the Broncos as division winners in the AFC West, however, the Raiders are giving Denver a run for their money this season, and coming into Week 8 both teams are on 5-2.

That means the Raiders will not want to let anything slip this week and will be desperate to claim the spoils against a tough Buccaneers team.

Tampa Bay meanwhile come into the game on 3-3 and are chasing the 4-3 Atlanta Falcons at the top if the NFC South.

They will know how important it is to move to a winning record today rather than dropping back to a negative one, which would allow the Falcons to start to pull away from them in the race for the division title and the postseason spots.

Earlier in Week 8, NFL Thursday Night Football saw the Jacksonville Jaguars go on the road to take on the Tennessee Titans.

The game looked like it could have been close on paper, but things were all but over by half time as the Titans stormed into a massive 27-0 lead.

Although the Jaguars fought back in the second half and made the scoreline less embarrassing, things still ended 36-22 in the Titan favor, and that result lifted them to 4-4.

That means the Titans remain very much relevant to how the season turns out, and if they can continue pushing things in the second half of the season they could end up as a surprise package in the postseason.

Meanwhile for the Jaguars, it looks like their season is all but over as they dropped to 2-5, and it is unlikely they can comeback from there to compete for the Playoff slots.
