"Once Upon a Time" co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz were at New York Comic Con last week to talk about the new season and what fans can look forward to in the coming episodes.

According to the show bosses, the new season will be split into two and will be airing 10 episodes for the first half of the season, with a two-hour night on Nov. 15. The show will then return for the second half of season 5 in March 2016.

Horowitz said that part of the two-hour episode will feature three heroines going on an epic adventure—Merida, (Amy Manson), Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Ruby (Meghan Ory.)

A new character will also be introduced before the series goes on a long winter break, and the co-creators revealed that fans are going to see Hook's (Colin O'Donughue) father in a series of flashbacks.

"We'll see Hook as a little boy," said Kitsis. The role of Hook's father has yet to be cast.

An unlikely pair is also going to team up before the ABC show goes on a break, and Horowitz said that Hook and the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) are going on an adventure. Since nobody expects the two to work together, is it possible that they're going a quest to help Emma (Jennifer Morrison) to regain her old self after she became the Dark One?

Horowitz and Kitsis spoke to TVLine and said that Hook's main goal this season is saving Emma from herself. It appears that he's the most qualified person to do this since he had a lot of experience going after a Dark One, but the Evil Queen's role in the mission has yet to be revealed.

Meanwhile, the co-creators said that they have not decided yet whether Emilie de Ravin's real life pregnancy will be written into the show. The actress plays Belle in the series.

"One way or another, something's gonna get done," said Kitsis, and Horowitz added that they're very happy for the "Lost" alum.

"Once Upon a Time" airs on Sundays at 8 p.m. on ABC.

Faith is often accompanied by uncertainty, yet it is in stepping forward that we encounter the power of God. The Israelites learned this at the Jordan River, where God performed a miracle only after they demonstrated obedience.
