One Million Moms glad 'Angel From Hell' is cancelled as it targets 'Younger,' another 'disgusting' TV show

The Christian watch group One Million Moms breathed a sigh of relief when the TV programme "Angel From Hell" was cancelled last week after just five episodes.

However, its fight continues as another "disgusting" programme called "Younger" is still airing at the TV Land network.

"TV Land network describes the show in these words: 'Younger' follows 40-year-old Liza, a suddenly single mother who tries to get back into the working world, only to find out it's nearly impossible to start at the bottom at her age. When a chance encounter with a 20-something guy at a bar convinces her she looks younger than she is, Liza tries to pass herself off as a 26-year-old not only to land her dream job but also to date a much younger guy," the group writes in its website.

While the premise seems harmless enough, One Million Moms is very upset with the programme because each scene of "Younger" is filled with sexual innuendos, implications, or encounters. There is pixelated nudity, drug use, graphic bedroom scenes, excessive alcohol consumption, and homosexual attraction, making the comedy "anything but funny."

"It is almost impossible to describe the depth of depravity found in the TV Land sitcom 'Younger,'" the group says.

One Million Moms contacted Capital One when "Angel From Hell" was still being aired and asked that the company pull out their sponsorship of the show. It did, and its ads did not appear anymore during the show's last four episodes.

Red Lobster, one of the sponsors of "Younger," was also contacted by One Million Moms. Like Capital One, the company also pulled out its ads.

One Million Moms is now working to urge companies Wrigley and Mars, Inc. to stop their sponsorship of "Younger" as well.
