When "Orange is the New Black" returns for another season on Netflix next year, it seems that there will be a war at the Litchfield Penitentiary. After all, this is one of the consequences brought about by the death of Poussey (played by Samira Wiley) in the previous season.

According to Game N Guide, Taystee (played by Danielle Brooks) will not just stand by and let Poussey's death slide, and she will ensure that her dear friend is avenged. Actress Brooks said in an interview that the prison will be engulfed in a war once the fifth season of the series starts.

She even went so far as to say that her character has nothing to lose anymore as there isn't anyone in her life who will miss her when she is gone. Additionally, Taystee will be even angrier as the prison tries its utmost to downplay the tragic death of her friend. She will direct her rage at Caputo (played by Nick Sandow) for his lack of enthusiasm when it comes to honoring Poussey.

Regardless, some reports say that another major character will lose their life in the new season, and a lot of rumors are pointing out that it will be Piper Chapman (played by Taylor Schilling) this time. The person who would want to see her dead is still open for discussion, but it is highly probable that Stella Carlin (played by Ruby Rose) will be the one to kill her since Chapman was the reason why Carlin got transferred into the maximum security prison in the first place.

Lastly, Mstars News reports that the fifth season of "Orange is the New Black" will be the series's last.

However, there is no confirmation for the rumor yet, but it could be made clear once "Orange is the New Black" is released in June 2017.
