'Outlander' season 3 spoilers, news: Sophie Skelton, Richard Rankin spotted filming; Starz series prepares to shoot print shop scene

Over the weekend, two "Outlander" stars were spotted filming a scene for the upcoming third season of the Starz show. After their debut in season 2 of the hit series, Sophie Skelton and Richard Rankin were seen playing Brianna and Roger in scenes filmed in Glasgow.

In pictures published by the Daily Mail, the two are seen standing in the street while deep in conversation. For the scene, Brianna is wearing a long black coat over a green blouse and dark trousers, while Roger wears a charcoal gray coat over a white shirt and tie and black trousers.

While the sighting confirms that the two will be seen in the upcoming installment, it is likely that Brianna and Roger will only be in a few episodes as it is expected that most of season 3 will focus on Jamie (Sam Heughan) and Claire's (Caitriona Balfe) lives without each other, before they reunite after 20 years apart.

The reunion scene is something that fans are eagerly anticipating as they count down the days to the show's season 3 premiere. Fans of Diana Gabaldon's "Outlander" novels are familiar on how it plays out, and it looks like the show will be staying true to its source material as executive producer Matthew B. Roberts shared a teaser on Twitter.

On Tuesday, Nov. 22, Roberts tweeted a photo of what appears to be a small part of the script, and while other words have been blurred, the words "Int. Print Shop" and "Jamie enters" can be seen clearly. The photo was captioned, "So close I think I actually have ink on my hands."

In Gabaldon's third "Outlander" book titled "Voyager," Claire travels back in time after learning from Roger and Brianna that Jamie is alive and has survived the Battle at Culloden Moor. She then makes her way to a print shop owned by a certain Alexander Malcolm in Carfax Close, Edinburgh.

Knowing that Alexander must be one of Jamie's pseudonyms, Claire enters the shop and sees Jamie, who has his back to the door. He turns around and sees Claire, thinking that he's imagining her again. But when she reaches out and touches him, he realizes that she is real, and Jamie faints. Once he revives, the two have an emotional reunion, hugging and crying right there on the print shop's floor.

Roberts previously teased the print shop scene in a Q&A with fans, telling one follower that the scene is going to cause tears to flow and that "there might not be enough tissue in the world."

"Outlander" season 3 premieres in 2017 on Starz.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
