Starting out as a novel adaptation of the historical time travel series "Outlander" by Diana Gabaldon, the series was a popular hit during its first two seasons. With the third season set to premiere this September, fans are eagerly awaiting news and spoilers about the fate of Sam Heughan's character, Jamie, and Caitriona Balfe's Claire.

After the series required the co-stars to act out very intimate scenes, fans of "Outlander" picked up on the chemistry and are ardently hoping that the Jamie and Claire ship sails outside the screen. The most recent spoilers reveal that there will be more intimate and romantic scenes to come for the onscreen couple, prompting fans to await further news on the Heughan and Balfe's relationship.

Starz's hit series "Outlander" is expected to show the trials and tribulations of a relationship in the context of time travel. If the teasers are anything to go by, it seems that Jamie and Claire will eventually find a way back to each other despite their circumstances.

While the nature of the relationship between the stars behind Jamie and Claire remains unclear, Rollo, the wolf hybrid, has been cast, according to Entertainment Weekly. Gabaldon explains that Rollo's part in the "Outlander" series will be revealed in the series' fourth season where the wolf hybrid will eventually become part of the Fraser family.

The cast and production team of "Outlander" is currently filming in South Africa for the scenes described in the third installment of Gabaldon's series, "Voyager." Cast members are reportedly going to attend the Comic-Con this July, to be held in San Diego. Meanwhile, the third season of "Outlander" will pick up right where it left off, with Jamie missing Claire and the latter trying to tide through giving birth and her relationship with her first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies).
