'Outlander' season 3 filming up to episode 10 is a wrap

It will not be until September when season 3 of "Outlander" returns to the small screen. Nonetheless, there are several teasers and previews that give hint on what fans can look forward to in the British-American drama television series.

Last Sunday, executive producer Maril Davis conducted a question-and-answer session on its official Twitter account to answer some of the questions of the fans.

In the discussion, Davis revealed that production is already done up to episode 10 of "Outlander" season 3. The show is expected to have 13 episodes, which means that filming may already be at the tail end.

On the other hand, when one fan asked the executive producer to describe the first episode in one word, Davis simply said "heartbreak."

This is not a surprise, as the story of "Outlander" season 3 deals with a lost love and their attempt to reunite.

Based on the official synopsis, "Outlander" season 3 is expected to pick up from the story of Claire (Caitriona Balfe) traveling in 1948. She will encounter problems regarding her sudden reappearance and its impact on his first husband Frank (Tobias Menzies). Meanwhile, in the 18<sup>th Century, Jamie (Sam Heughan) is devastated when he loses Claire.

The story will see how the pair will deal with their lost love. Claire and Jamie will also find ways to reunite despite being apart in different continents and centuries. In the end, when they find each other, will they be the same person who parted years ago?

STARZ is yet to confirm the official return date of "Outlander" season 3. Nonetheless, the studio assured that it will be worth the wait once the new season premieres. In a statement, the network said, "The scale of this book is immense, and we owe the fans the very best show. Returning in September will make that possible."
