The gaming industry is saturated by a lot of competitors who will always endeavor to bring something new to the community. Being as fickle as the audience is, the only way to make sure the players stay invested in the game is to include them in every possible way. This is a concept that Blizzard Entertainment knows all too well.

"Overwatch" is arguably one of Blizzard's crowning glory in the field of multiplayer first-person shooting platforms. It has evolved tremendously in the first few months and keeps innovating while they have the audience in the palm of their hands. To further improve the game, Blizzard has also invited gamers to test out a patch via Public Test Region or PTR.

PC gamers are able to participate in the testing phase of the patch. The said test will try to check if the patch works flawlessly before it is introduced finally to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. Registered players for the testing phase may provide feedback via the PTR Bug Report forum if they uncover various bugs and technical issues during their gameplay.

The said patch adds a new voice line for the infamous Sombra, the newest addition to the "Overwatch" roster. Moreover, a "Stay as Team" feature is also included, making multiplayer campaigns more seamless. On top of those, some heroes are given buffs in order to even the playing field, specifically for Symmetra and Zarya.

Most of the contents of the patch were insights from players in the forums, which shows that Blizzard listens to its audience. This makes the players more involved in the updates made in the game, making them stick to it even more.

Some players have so much love for the game that they create real-life crafts in honor of "Overwatch." A replica of Genji's buzzing sword and shuriken and a how-to video of it was even released recently by the team at Man at Arms, a group that makes replicas of weapons from pop culture. In the said video, they even showed how authentic the forged weapons are, trying to hack-and-slash a few fruits to shows its power.

Some players love the game so much that they can't stop playing until they reach their limit. PVP Live featured TaZzeRK, a French Overwatch player who has just reached level 1801. His stats and accomplishments are also feats of legend, considering he is playing on his own, around 16 hours a day.

This just shows that if a developer loves his audience, the audience loves the game back.
