Pebble Time 2 release date news: active-ready smartwatch ships in November

Pebble Time 2: An awesome smartwatch plus an amazing activity tracker Pebble Technology

Pebble Technology is in for another round of KickStarter campaign for their upcoming smartwatches. Though the company came in late with fitness functionality for their watches, the upcoming Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2 will now be both equipped with a heart monitoring function. The company will start shipping its premium model, the Pebble Time 2, in November.

Pebble Time 2 was designed with active professionals in mind. The metal bezel gives out a sophisticated look, but the device can still be worn during fitness activities. Additionally, it offers a thinner bezel, a bigger screen display compared to its predecessor and three colors to choose from, namely black, silver and gold.

As a smartwatch, both Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2 will keep their wearers connected to a smartphone without the necessary distractions in achieving one's goal, like finishing an important meeting or reaching a specific run distance. Once synced, the upcoming watch can display information on events and appointments, weather, train schedule, walks, runs, or anything in between.

The company also boast other features, such as water resistance for up to 30 meters, a very readable display indoors or outdoors, SMS reply through voice, up to 10 days battery life, music control functionality and many available apps and watchfaces.

Both watch models will contain a heartbeat sensor. Its own app, Pebble Health, can work flawlessly with different calendar programs and integrate fitness schedules so it won't be forgotten. This is aside from the automatic sleep tracking application that can detect when the wearer is asleep and awake. The app can even calculate the much-needed "deep sleep" of active professionals.

The Pebble Time 2 is available for US$179 as its Kickstarter price.

More recently, I’ve enjoyed Christian movies Unsung Hero and Jesus Revolution on limited release in the UK, but it’s rare for such films to make the multiplex chains.
