Planned Parenthood wants to 'eliminate black people,' says GOP bet Ben Carson

Republican presidential candidate Dr. Ben Carson has labelled Planned Parenthood as an organisation that seeks to "eliminate black people," criticising US President Barack Obama and Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton for failing to acknowledge that.

During a recent phone interview with conservative radio host Jan Mickelson on WHO Radio in Des Moines, Carson said he could not help but "wonder if he [Obama] actually knows the history of Planned Parenthood and [its founder] Margaret Sanger, who was trying to eliminate black people. That was the whole purpose of it."

The 63-year-old retired neurosurgeon made the remark when Mickelson asked for his comment on an Obama speech from last year where the president defended Planned Parenthood and even said "Thank you Planned Parenthood. God bless you."

Mickelson then shared an audio clip of Clinton from 2009, when she was awarded the Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger Award. "I admire Margaret Sanger enormously, her courage, her tenacity, her vision," Clinton gushed. "I am really in awe of her."

Carson said Obama and Clinton appear to be unaware of who Sanger was.

Planned Parenthood is actually the largest abortion provider in the US, with 78 percent of its clinics located in minority communities, according to Black Genocide.org.

The website noted that blacks are the only minority in America that has a declining population, saying that if the current trend continues, "by 2038 the black vote will be insignificant."

According to Black Genocide, Sanger was a "devout racist who created the Negro Project designed to sterilise unknowing black women and others she deemed as undesirables of society."

In one of her quotes, Sanger said: "Coloured people are like human weeds and are to be exterminated."

She was also quoted as saying that blacks, immigrants and indigents are "...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born."

Carson said he has no doubt that Clinton's statements on Planned Parenthood will be used against her in the 2016 election. "I am delighted to have her saying that on tape because if I am a nominee and we are in the race, believe me that quotation that she just said will come back and it will be in a context that people can understand," he said. "She has done us a great favour right there... That is a ticking time bomb."

Carson also commented on the controversial Planned Parenthood videos showing one of the organisation's top officials discussing the sale aborted baby parts for medical research. The presidential aspirant said he feels sad that people are so "desensitised" nowadays that they are not even "horrified" by the appalling acts committed by Planned Parenthood.

He stressed that people who are pro-life should seek to defund the activities of Planned Parenthood, which reportedly receives around $500 taxpayers' funds each year.

"If we can't defund Planned Parenthood after this, we are lost. We are just in the wilderness forever. I think the appropriate response is to focus our attention on it because they will try to divert the attention and move on to something else and we cannot allow that to happen," Carson said.

"This is the smoking gun and we have always known what kind of organisation this is and how anti-life they are and we can also use this to help women understand that they are being manipulated."
