Multiplayer online shooting game "Player Unknown's Battleground" has recently received multiple patches for both the PC and the Xbox One. The game was released on the Xbox One in December of 2017 and gained an even larger following after its release. However, the game faced multiple problems regarding bugs and cheaters, not only on its new Xbox One release, but on its PC release as well. The patches were uploaded shortly after in an attempt to fix things and improve the game.

The first patch was launched on Dec. 27, 2017 while the last patch was launched on Jan. 10. As of now, the Developers of "Player Unknown's Battlegrounds" are currently working on testing the Blue Zone and tweaking the mechanics of the game's competitive play. A blog post about their latest endeavours was uploaded to the PUBG website on Jan. 19.

"After PC 1.0 launch, our highest priority has been ensuring a fair and competitive environment by combating cheats and decreasing the amount of their users as well as address any optimization and stability issues to create a more enjoyable environment," according to the post.

It then went on to discuss the cheating problem that has been going on in PUBG, stating that new cheats and exploit patterns have been discovered and that they were working to fix things. They also sent out a warning stating that players who attempted to compromise the game or cheat would be banned permanently, and in other cases, legal authorities would be dragged into the mix as well.

Cheating aside, the development team is working on fixing enemy encounter rates and the death camera. Testing aside, here are some of the changes brought about by the new patches: The map selection ratio was changed, the replay system was tweaked so players could only view replays three minutes after their deaths, and multiple bugs regarding items not showing on the map were fixed as well. Aside from that bugs involving players unable to earn BP, and a bug where bullets could not go through objects were fixed too. The list of bugs goes on and on and is available on the development journal.
