"PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" creators, Bluhole Studios, may be basking in the success and popularity of their battle-royale inspired game, but it seems that they already have their eyes set on another promising project. The video game titled "Ascent: Infinite Realm," a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) is going to be published by Kakao Games.

In the trailer released for the game, it can be seen that "Ascent: Infinite Realm" is an amalgam of many different gaming genres. The first sequences showcase travel through the sky on ships that look like a cross between pirate ships and zeppelins. Additionally, the in-game characters are shown to be able to fly through the sky with wings.

Den of Geek has reported that the game looks visually stunning. This is especially impressive since the game was just announced and not many people have heard about it until now. Those who want to experience the game during the closed beta stages can already sign up for it as early as now through the official website.

Battle sequences, which is similar to most MMORPG Raid Battles, involve a group of people who join forces to defeat a monster for a high-tier loot. In a report by PC Gamer, the unique aspect of the game is the "realm vs. realm combat" where players will be boarding airships and anti-air artillery for long and epic battles with multiple players. It is safe to assume that "realm vs. realm" mode will be the highlight of the game.

In these battles, each faction will make use of many different types of weapons and vehicles, and will have to be coordinated in order to achieve their goals. According to Siliconera, "Ascent: Infinite Realm" will allow players to customize most of the key elements in the game. Additionally, even quests are customizable, which is something unique compared to most MMORPG games in the market today.

It is estimated that the closed beta testing for "Ascent: Infinite Realm" will be available within the first few months of 2018.
