PlayStation Essentials Sale offers numerous titles at discounted prices

Folks looking to get some new games will want to check out the currently ongoing PlayStation Essentials Sale.

Numerous games are currently available at discounted prices, thanks to the new promotion, and people will have the option of sifting through titles that are available for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), the PlayStation 3 (PS3), and even the PS Vita.

The games selected to be part of the PlayStation Essentials Sale are said to be among the "most iconic, best-selling and critically acclaimed" PlayStation titles, according to the official PlayStation blog.

Starting with the PS4 titles that folks can look into getting, some of the options include "Dragon Age Inquisition: Deluxe Edition" that is currently available for $17.50 and $13.99 for PlayStation Plus members.

The standard edition of "Grand Theft Auto V" for PS4 is also currently available for $44.99, while PlayStation Plus members can get it for $38.99.

Basketball fans who may have held off on getting "NBA 2K16" can now purchase the game for $47.99 and $44.99 for PlayStation Plus members.

As for some of the PS3 games available at discounted prices via the PlayStation Essentials Sale, one option for gamers is "Far Cry 3 Ultimate Edition." The open world action title is currently available for $14.99 and for just $12.49 to PlayStation Plus subscribers.

Also included in the PlayStation Essentials Sale is "Red Dead Redemption." Players looking to get this western-themed adventure title can have it for as low as $5.99 if they are a PlayStation Plus member and for $9.00 otherwise.

PS Vita owners looking for a new role-playing game (RPG) to try can get "Persona 4 Golden." The game is currently available for $12.00 and $8.99 for Plus members.

The PlayStation Essentials Sale will be running for the rest of the week, according to Dual Shockers, so players looking to shop still have a few days left to do so.
