When Time Magazine announced the top inventions of 2016, a lot of gaming fans were surprised to find that the Sony PlayStation VR was able to make the cut. After all, only several products and services were included in the list, and that speaks of the quality of the device from Sony.

According to Game N Guide, Time Magazine remarked that the PS VR is specifically designed to work using the PS4 console that most people already own. As such, the PS VR is a convenient device to have for gamers since they do not need to spend thousands of dollars more to get a cutting-edge virtual reality experience in their own homes.

Furthermore, the PS VR only costs around $400 and if the user wants to buy a brand new PS4 console, they only need to pay $300 more as well. It is optional but gamers can also shell out a bit more to buy the PlayStation Camera and complete the setup.

Thankfully, when the PS VR went on sale last month, the company gave people the impression that everything was on track, despite the fact that no specific figure has been revealed just yet.

According to a review from GameSpot, the PS VR has the potential to become something more, but as of the moment, it is not really a high-priority item. After all, VR fans could agree that the device trips up too many times, and as such, most fans still have doubts on whether or not to recommend it to other players.

Also, some of the titles released for the platform has the tendency to make some players feel nauseated, and as such extreme caution must be exercised when playing a game on the PS VR.

Regardless, for those who want to buy a PS VR, there is currently a $500 bundle being offered, which includes the PS Camera, two Move controllers, and PS VR Worlds, which showcases the power of the device.
