In the latest of "Pokemon GO" milestones, players have unlocked Farfetch'd after they captured over 3 billion pocket monsters.

The latest in the "Pokemon GO Travel: Global Catch Challenge" event saw Trainers around the world coming together to unlock the event's full rewards. This includes Stardust, double XP, 6 hour-long Lure Modules, as well as a lot more Pokemon becoming available worldwide.

"Congratulations, Trainers! You did it! You've caught over 3 billion Pokemon and unlocked a new reward during the Global Catch Challenge," Niantic said in an official announcement.

Because of their great job, they have unlocked two Gold Tier rewards. FarFetch'd, which was previously available only in Japan, is now being released worldwide. Those in East Asia can also start catching Kangaskhan, which was previously available only in East Asia.

But the catch is, they will only be available for 48 hours. Apart from them, all the other bonuses will be available until the first of December.

The "Pokemon Go Travel: Global Catch Challenge" tasked players to catch 3 billion pocket monster for a week -- from Nov. 20 to Nov. 26.

The challenge was divided into three tiers, with varying rewards. When Trainers hit the 500 million mark, they were rewarded with double XP and a six-hour incense. The second tier challenged them to catch 1.5 billion Pokemon, which they achieved in no time. They enjoyed the same rewards as the first milestone, with the addition of Stardust. The Gold Tier allowed them to come closer to completing their Pokedex.

This latest global event from Niantic signifies that "Pokemon GO" is still very much alive, over a year since it was first launched in July 2016. This is definitely a good sign for its upcoming "Harry Potter" augmented reality mobile game, to be called "Wizards Unite."

The "Pokemon GO" travel event is scheduled to end on Friday, Dec. 1, 4 p.m. EDT.
